Job Description

Kresge Hearing Research Institute is seeking a research associate with experience in setting electrophysiology lab (hardware and software programing), computer programing or/and bioinformatics.

  • Maintaining computing systems associated with electrophysiology rigs
  • Assistance for building pipeline for bioinformatics including mapping raw read to reference genome, extracting count data, statistical analysis, and visualizing big data
  • Data storage, organizing, and maintenance in the system
  • Editing Python, R, Linux, Matlab, Java scripts
  • Developing AI in biological imagining analysis and electrophysiological data analysis

Applicants with B.S. (or B.E.) and at least 2-year experience in computer programing and bioinformatics in the neurophysiology lab.

+ 5 years working in a Research Laboratory.
