Salary Range: $35000 $45000 per year depending on experience.

As a bookkeeper you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records ensuring compliance with accounting standards and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and organize financial transactions using accounting software.
• Reconcile bank accounts credit card statements and other financial documents.
• Maintain and update the general ledger.
• Assist in preparing financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements.
• Process invoices payments and payroll data accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associates degree or coursework in accounting or finance preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Xero or similar) is a plus.
• Strong mathematical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
