Position Name : Travel Registered Nurse Psychiatric (Urgent needs)

Start Date : ASAP

Employment Type: Fulltime Travel Contract Temporary

Contract Length: 16 weeksAccepting Local and Travel Candidates

Pay Rate: $2160 Gross pay (Nontaxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Psychiatric

Shift: 12 hours shifts Nights 7a 7.30p Days 7a 7.30p Afternoons 3p 3.30 a (or) 8hr afternoons 3p 11.30p

Schedule: 36 hours / Week 8 or 12 hours shifts any 3 or 5 days of the week including every other weekend and Holidays Rotation

Position Requirements:

2 years of Recent/Current Inpatient Acute Psychiatric Nursing experience
Comfortable and willing to work with adolescents adults patient population
Float to Adult and Adolescent units
Must have experience with Paper charting

Education License and Certification Requirements:

ASN or an equivalent Required
BSN or an equivalent Highly preferred
RN License for the state or compact if applicable Required
HWC Certification Preferred
BLS Certification from AHA Required

Job Description:

Provide all aspects of Psychiatric Nursing care for patients in assigned psych units.
Provide care for inpatient adult and adolescent units
Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients physical and behavioral health needs.
Develop and implement nursing care plans.
Responsible for assessment diagnosis planning and establishing outcomes implementation and evaluation.
Accurately and promptly implements physicians orders.
Prepares administers and records medications in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications.
Records information concisely accurately and completely.
Participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning and revises plan of care based on assessment.
