Position Name : Travel Registered Nurse Psychiatric (Urgent needs)

Employment Type: Fulltime Travel Contract Temporary

Contract Length: 16 weeksAccepting Local and Travel Candidates

Pay Rate: $2160 Gross pay (Nontaxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Psychiatric

Shift: 12 hours shifts Nights 7a 7.30p Days 7a 7.30p Afternoons 3p 3.30 a (or) 8hr afternoons 3p 11.30p

Schedule: 36 hours / Week 8 or 12 hours shifts any 3 or 5 days of the week including every other weekend and Holidays Rotation

Position Requirements:

• 2 years of Recent/Current Inpatient Acute Psychiatric Nursing experience
• Comfortable and willing to work with adolescents adults patient population
• Float to Adult and Adolescent units
• Must have experience with Paper charting

Education License and Certification Requirements:

• ASN or an equivalent Required
• BSN or an equivalent Highly preferred
• RN License for the state or compact if applicable Required
• HWC Certification Preferred
• BLS Certification from AHA Required

Job Description:

• Provide all aspects of Psychiatric Nursing care for patients in assigned psych units.
• Provide care for inpatient adult and adolescent units
• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Responsible for assessment diagnosis planning and establishing outcomes implementation and evaluation.
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians orders.
• Prepares administers and records medications in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications.
• Records information concisely accurately and completely.
• Participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning and revises plan of care based on assessment.
• Paper charting
