Position Name : Travel Registered Nurse Psychiatric (Urgent needs)

Employment Type: Fulltime Travel Contract Temporary
Contract Length: 16 weeksAccepting Local and Travel Candidates
Pay Rate: $2160 Gross pay (Nontaxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Psychiatric
Shift: 12 hours shifts Nights 7a 7.30p Days 7a 7.30p Afternoons 3p 3.30 a (or) 8hr afternoons 3p 11.30p
Schedule: 36 hours / Week 8 or 12 hours shifts any 3 or 5 days of the week including every other weekend and Holidays Rotation
Position Requirements:
- 2 years of Recent/Current Inpatient Acute Psychiatric Nursing experience
- Comfortable and willing to work with adolescents adults patient population
- Float to Adult and Adolescent units
- Must have experience with Paper charting
Education License and Certification Requirements:
- ASN or an equivalent Required
- BSN or an equivalent Highly preferred
- RN License for the state or compact if applicable Required
- HWC Certification Preferred
- BLS Certification from AHA Required
Job Description:
- Provide all aspects of Psychiatric Nursing care for patients in assigned psych units.
- Provide care for inpatient adult and adolescent units
- Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients physical and behavioral health needs.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Responsible for assessment diagnosis planning and establishing outcomes implementation and evaluation.
- Accurately and promptly implements physicians orders.
- Prepares administers and records medications in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications.
- Records information concisely accurately and completely.
- Participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning and revises plan of care based on assessment.
- Paper charting
