Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Med/Surg

Location : Asheville North Carolina

Shift : 12Hour Days (7:00 AM 7:00 PM) FullTime Rotating Weekends

Shifts Per Week : 3

Scheduled Hours : 36 hours per week

Hourly Rate : $30.00 $43.00 per hour

Job Overview :

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated MedSurg Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in North Carolina. The ideal candidate will provide highquality patient care in a fastpaced medicalsurgical unit. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to meet the healthcare needs of patients demonstrating professional nursing care and exceptional communication.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct patient care assess patient health problems and develop nursing care plans to meet individualized patient needs.
  • Administer medications and perform necessary procedures in accordance with physician orders.
  • Monitor patient progress and make necessary changes to care plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to provide appropriate care and ensure smooth care transitions.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatments procedures and recovery processes.
  • Maintain detailed patient records and ensure proper documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Participate in unitbased shared governance councils and actively contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications :

  • Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or enrolled in a BSN or advanced degree program (must obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire).
  • Preferred: Masters in Nursing.

Experience :

  • Required: At least one year of hospital nursing experience.
