Monarch Investment and Management Group, “Monarch”is growing and actively interviewing for an Experienced Regional Property Managerto lead our team in the Wichita, KS area! The fact that we own and self-manage our assets allows us a "hands on" approach that sets us apart from the competition. 

The Regional Manager is a leader within the communities they oversee. They build and maintain great teams and a solid tenant base. We aren’t looking for just anyone but for YOU- someone GREAT  at what they do! Someone with a passion for the multifamily industry who can be nimble, and work well within the dynamic multifamily housing environment.

Monarch is the 9th largest multifamily property ownerin the country. We’re a privately owned group(since 1992) with over 75,000 apartments across 22 states. Unlike REITs or Wall Street groups focused on flipping properties, we take a long-term investment approach—meaning we truly care about the communities we bring in and the people who make Monarch thrive!

THIS ROLE WILL REQUIRE RELOCATION TO WICHITA, UPON ACCEPTANCE OF OFFER AND START DATE 

Great compensation and benefits:

• $85,000 - $95,000year
• Up to $12,000a year in Quarterly Bonuses

A seasoned Regional knows the tasks at hand, here are a few of the priorities for us!

• Build and maintain an “A” team to manage the assigned communities.
• Ensure an active and engaging employee relations program is maintained.
• Understand and emulate the Monarch Culture within assigned region.
• Build and maintain “Apartment Communities”, not just “units” in a “complex” but an actual community where our residents can live, grow and feel part of.
• Property Manages the full-cycle operational and financial responsibilities of a “Region”. 
• Makes strategic changes to increase income, decrease expenses and grow net operating income
• Assists on evaluating capital needs and planning capital projects. 
• Captures tenant renewals at the highest rates possible.
• Oversees all leasing activities at or above market occupancy and rent levels.

What the ideal candidate looks like:

• 5+ years’ experience in Multifamily Housing management. 
• Experience managing multiple communities. 
• Proven track record of successfully leading a team of 15+. 
• Must be able to thoroughly understand the financial aspects of running a portfolio.
• Must understand multifamily housing maintenance needs.
