Job Description

Seeking Part time with a flexible schedule. A receptionist's job is to be the first point of contact for a company's clients and employees, and to create a welcoming environment. Receptionists perform a variety of tasks, including:

• Greeting visitors: Welcoming visitors and directing them to the correct person or office
• Answering phones: Answering and transferring phone calls to the correct department, and taking messages
• Handling mail: Receiving, sorting, and delivering mail to employees
• Scheduling appointments: Scheduling meetings for employees
• Maintaining office supplies: Taking inventory of office supplies and placing orders

Performing clerical tasks: Filing, copying, faxing, and transcribing Maintaining records: Keeping office records up to date, and maintaining visitor, employee, and department directories Providing customer service: Responding to customer inquiries in a polite and timely manner Maintaining the reception area: Keeping the reception area and other common areas clean and tidy
