East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation (EBALDC)is seeking a regular full time Property Manager in Oakland, CA.
Summary:
The Property Manager is primarily responsible for the overall operation of the properties which include daily implementation and adherence to EBALDC policies and processes, assuring compliance with all regulatory agencies and investors, ensuring the physical condition is maintained daily, assuring the property’s sound fiscal management, and promoting social soundness of a property.
The Property Manager is responsible for initiating solutions to the unique issues and challenges of the properties, directing the work performance of site personnel, service providers, and contractors in a manner requiring minimum supervision from the Property Supervisor.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Minimum three (3) or more years prior housing property management experience as a Property Manager, specifically tax credit or other subsidized housing program and supportive housing
Adapts well to change, and remains professional, composed and respectful at all times.
Must be honest, dependable, and accountable.
Establishes and maintains effective and appropriate relationships and boundaries, and communicates with clients, co-workers, and external parties in a manner that fosters respect and trust.
Excellent administrative, organizational and written/verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience certifying tenant incomes to meet Section 8 and HUD regulations
Knowledge of low income housing tax credit regulations
Background related to tenant population of building complex (i.e., handicapped, elderly, homeless) preferred
Real Estate Sales License
YARDI Software knowledge a plus

$41,933.00 to $57,117.00 annually (plus On-Site On-Call Manager position requirement)
$55,000.00 to $66,000.00 annually (not living on-site)
