We are always looking for talented individuals seeking to build a career and join the Wixon family. Wixon has an immediate opening for a Production Scheduler/Planner.

The Production Scheduler/Planner is responsible for efficient scheduling of rigid and flexible lines consistent with meeting customer delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Create, monitor and analyze production schedules in accordance with the standard best practice.
• Schedule the production process and departmental activities relating to material, employee, and equipment availability.
• Monitor production process, workflow, and schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
• Efficiently assign production to minimize company costs and meet delivery deadlines.
• Work with the manager to execute and implement process improvements.
• Ensure that materials and equipment are pre-arranged for production.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, and finance teams to develop and maintain scheduling parameters.
• Generate daily or weekly production reports to managers for critical decision-making purposes.

Qualifications

Key Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 3+ years of position related experience in Food and Beverage industry
• Excellent knowledge of systems and methods including MRP, good computer skills
• understanding of allergens and manufacturing processes
• Good written and verbal communication skills, teamwork, organization skills, and math skills.
