Full-time, on-site position with immediate start.

Requirements

  • Mandatory: Director EEC Certification; ability to be onsite during operating hours.
  • Preferred: Bilingual in English and Spanish; experience in a Reggio-inspired program.
  • Physical ability to lift 35+ pounds and meet the demands of a dynamic early childhood education environment.

Position Description

The School Director oversees the day-to-day operations and ensures alignment with the school's purpose, vision, and values. Responsibilities include staff supervision, family engagement, and administrative tasks. Collaborating with educators, the Director supports the development of enriching early learning experiences. A key player in fostering a positive work climate, the Director also leads events, manages compliance with EEC regulations, and assists in crafting innovative programs and policies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with EEC regulations in classrooms and emergency protocols.
  • Support educators in creating progress reports, portfolios, and family communications.
  • Plan and execute school events, including team celebrations and family-focused gatherings.
  • Supervise daily operations, covering classrooms as needed.
  • Purchase supplies, maintain inventory, and oversee facility organization.
  • Serve as the primary onsite administrator for emergencies and daily operations.
  • Collaborate on schedules, payroll, and other administrative duties.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records for staff and students.
