Location: Riverside, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego Counties
Compensation: $25 - $55.00 a hour based on experience

Job Description:

The Pipelayer/Laborer will be responsible for assembling, installing, and connecting pipe systems for water mains, sewers, and drains. This role requires adherence to industry standards and construction procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely install and assemble pipes for water mains, sewers, and drains according to project specifications and industry standards.
• Operate hand and power tools to cut, fit, and assemble pipes.
• Perform excavation work as needed to install pipe systems.
• Inspect pipes for damage and repair or replace as necessary.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project goals.

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in pipe installation or related construction roles.
• Knowledge of pipe installation procedures and industry standards.
• Experience in construction, particularly in the installation of water mains, sewers, and drains.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow safety protocols.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including digging, trenching, and lifting heavy pipes and materials (up to 50 pounds).
• Ability to work in confined spaces and trenches for extended periods.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch for long periods.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods while operating equipment such as pipe lasers, trenching tools, or hand tools.
• Ability to operate foot pedals and hand controls on heavy equipment for long durations.
• Must be able to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
• Visual acuity and manual dexterity are necessary for the operation of tools and equipment.
