Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pipe Welder with strong technical welding skills and the ability to work safely and accurately in an industrial environment. The Pipe Welder will weld and assemble metal pipe systems, perform high-precision welds, and meet quality and safety requirements. Must have 2+ years of welding experience.
Required Weld Test
Must pass ONE of the following tests:
Primary Test (Main Requirement):
• 2" Schedule 160 pipe
• Open root welded flat (1G) in a pin wheel roll out
• Welded using MIG and Flux Core
Secondary Test (If Requested, Not Required):
• 2" Schedule 160 TAO
Key Responsibilities
• Weld and assemble metal pipe systems for industrial applications
• Perform high-quality MIG and Flux Core welds
• Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and specifications
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and welding procedures
• Inspect completed welds for quality and compliance
• Support production teams by performing additional welding tasks as needed
Qualifications
• Minimum 2+ years of Pipe Welding experience
• Ability to pass the required weld test(s)
• Strong understanding of welding procedures and pipe fabrication
• High attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
