The Performance Development Section is looking for someone with excellent communication and writing skills.

As a Performance Management Analyst, you can expect to provide advice and consultation on a wide variety of personnel-related subjects to supervisors and managers needing assistance with typical and sometimes challenging circumstances regarding their team members. You will also be reviewing, editing, and writing various items, including emails, memorandums, and formal business documents, requiring that you have a firm grasp on spelling, grammar, and narration to convey secondfacts clearly and concisely for third parties.

Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager II in the Performance Development Section, the Performance Management Analyst independently performs a variety of the more responsible and complex analytical assignments in a project-based environment. You will be assigned a portion of the Department and can expect to work closely with all levels of California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) management. The incumbent can expect to attend, coordinate, and sometimes lead a variety of meetings and training classes.
