Position : Payroll Manager
Location : Foxborough, MA (Remote, with periodic onsite presence within 1-2 hours of Boston)
Job Type : Direct Hire

Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Manager to handle payroll processing across multiple brands, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role also involves human resources support, including onboarding, benefits administration, and providing comprehensive employee assistance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage payroll processing for all corporate functions and individual brands, covering salaries, benefit deductions, retirement contributions, garnishments, tax withholdings, and other components.
• Calculate and manage sales commissions and bonus compensation plans.
• Maintain and update payroll systems to accurately reflect all employee statuses, including new hires, leaves of absence, and terminations.
• Register with new government entities to meet tax and unemployment requirements.
• Support employee benefits and 401(k) administration, assisting employees as needed.
• Guide employees through annual enrollment processes, enhancing their understanding and experience.
• Oversee the annual W2 distribution to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with accounting and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll integration with accounting systems, accurately capturing payroll-related expenses and liabilities.
• Assist with external financial and payroll audits when required.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field.
• 5-8 years of relevant payroll experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience with payroll software like Paylocity (or similar) preferred.
• Prior exposure to private equity environments is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
