Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated individual with a passion for automobiles to join our team as a Parts Counter with at least one year of experience, at our bustling Max Motors Dealerships. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department by providing necessary parts and accessories. The individual in this position will be responsible for meeting the needs of the technicians and customers by accurately and efficiently processing requests for parts while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities:

The Parts Counter role includes various tasks associated with the day-to-day dealership operations. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting mechanics and customers in purchasing needed parts and supplies for their vehicles
  • Communicating with customers to identify their needs and then recommending the right parts or services
  • Utilizing dealership tools and technology to maintain inventory tracking, reordering parts as needed to maintain appropriate inventory levels
  • Working with the team to maintain cleanliness and safety of the parts department
  • Providing exceptional customer service and building reliable relationships with customers for repeat business

Qualifications:

For the Parts Counter role, specific skills and experience are required in order to succeed:

  • Minimum 1-year experience working with automotive parts or in an automotive service environment
  • Comprehensive understanding of automotive systems and parts
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to uphold our high standards for customer satisfaction
  • Strong computer skills to manage inventory and place orders
  • Able to work collaboratively with a team and also independently
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to lift heavy items and remain standing for extended periods
