As an Organizational Development Specialist, you'll play a key role in driving organizational transformation by helping organizations navigate change and build strategies to meet their goals. What You'll Do
As an Organizational Development Specialist, your expertise will guide senior managers in understanding organizational dynamics and changes, helping to develop tailored processes, training programs, and coaching solutions. Your work will ensure the organization can achieve its goals and minimize productivity losses during transitions. Key responsibilities include:
Offering expert consultation and technical support to program managers at all levels of management.
Developing strategic plans, goals, and objectives for program implementation and administration.
Using advanced strategic thinking to work with employees and management across all levels.
Establishing and tracking metrics to assess organizational development and support key projects.
What You Bring to the Role
Knowledge of leadership development and instructional design processes to create and continuously improve leadership programs.
Experience with strategies that enhance organizational and team effectiveness.
Expertise in coaching, change management, performance monitoring, and business acumen.
Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms like Zoom, GoToWebinar, and Google Meet.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and various software applications.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with all levels of an organization.
Expertise in conducting interviews, surveys, and assessments to support leadership development programs.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 10 years of experience in change management, or a Master's degree and at least 8 years of experience.
Change Management Certification (e.g., PROSCI) is required.
Compensation
The estimated salary for this position ranges from $59,000 to $200,000 per year. This range serves as a general guideline and is based on factors such as experience, training, and qualifications. Compensation decisions are made considering the candidate's skill set and business needs. In addition to salary, a comprehensive benefits package is available.
Work Environment
While the primary work location is in the Washington D.C. Metro area, this position offers flexibility with remote work options. If you reside outside the area, please note that travel expenses to the primary work location are not reimbursed.
