Open Pit Maintenance Planner – Cortez Operations

What You’ll Do
As an Open Pit Maintenance Planner, you’ll play a vital role in optimizing the efficiency of our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Crafting detailed maintenance schedules and plans to ensure seamless operations.

• Managing and maintaining a comprehensive backlog of tasks while collaborating with supervisors and fellow planners to achieve strategic goals.

• Creating and improving preventive maintenance (PM) programs to ensure equipment longevity.

• Developing detailed task and material lists, organizing activities, and reviewing stock levels to support uninterrupted operations.

• Preparing cost and equipment performance reports to drive informed decision-making.

• Coordinating labor and material sourcing and fostering productive relationships with maintenance, operations, purchasing, warehouse teams, and external vendors.

What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a driven and resourceful professional with:

• At least five (5) years of experience as a mobile equipment mechanic (preferred).

• Maintenance planning expertise, with familiarity in Xeras and Discovery systems (preferred).

• Two (2) years of experience with Oracle eAM (or similar CMMS systems) or equipment management (preferred).

• Three (3) years of mobile maintenance planning experience (preferred).

• Proven leadership in equipment care and custody.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and an understanding of maintenance systems.

• Strong knowledge of maintenance safety and environmental protocols.

• Exceptional communication, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
