Open Pit Maintenance Planner – Cortez Operations

What You’ll Do
As an Open Pit Maintenance Planner, you’ll play a vital role in optimizing the efficiency of our operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Crafting detailed maintenance schedules and plans to ensure seamless operations.
Managing and maintaining a comprehensive backlog of tasks while collaborating with supervisors and fellow planners to achieve strategic goals.
Creating and improving preventive maintenance (PM) programs to ensure equipment longevity.
Developing detailed task and material lists, organizing activities, and reviewing stock levels to support uninterrupted operations.
Preparing cost and equipment performance reports to drive informed decision-making.
Coordinating labor and material sourcing and fostering productive relationships with maintenance, operations, purchasing, warehouse teams, and external vendors.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a driven and resourceful professional with:
At least five (5) years of experience as a mobile equipment mechanic (preferred).
Maintenance planning expertise, with familiarity in Xeras and Discovery systems (preferred).
Two (2) years of experience with Oracle eAM (or similar CMMS systems) or equipment management (preferred).
Three (3) years of mobile maintenance planning experience (preferred).
Proven leadership in equipment care and custody.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and an understanding of maintenance systems.
Strong knowledge of maintenance safety and environmental protocols.
Exceptional communication, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
