Key Responsibilities: ✔️ Prepare and dispense medication orders, ensuring accuracy and safety ✔️ Evaluate patient profiles and drug data for potential incompatibilities ✔️ Verify prescriptions for completeness and proper physician authorization ✔️ Admix medications while adhering to OSHA and interoffice guidelines ✔️ Provide pharmacological consultations to healthcare professionals and patients ✔️ Conduct drug counseling, advising patients on side effects and interactions ✔️ Maintain accurate logs for inventory control, drug protocols, and temperature monitoring ✔️ Ensure compliance with all legal and professional requirements
Qualifications:
🔹 Level 1:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
Current state licensure as a Pharmacist
0-3 years of experience as a registered pharmacist (Oncology background preferred)
Ability to supervise pharmacy technicians
🔹 Level 2 (Includes Level 1 requirements):
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a registered pharmacist
Preferably 3+ years in a pharmacy with IV preparation skills
