Job Title: Office Manager / Office Administrator – Water, Fire Mitigation & Construction
Location: Norwalk, CT
Compensation: $60,000 – $75,000 per year (based on experience)
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Office Manager / Office Administrator to lead daily operations for a restoration and construction team specializing in water, fire, and mold mitigation.
You’ll manage and train office coordinators, oversee administrative and job file processes, and support project coordination to ensure outstanding customer service and efficient project delivery.
Oversee daily office operations and team productivity
Support job file documentation, scheduling, and recordkeeping
Use Xactimate and XactAnalysis for estimating and invoicing
Work with systems like WorkCenter, Dash, Drybook, Dry Logs, and DocuSketch
Coordinate communication between departments and clients
Train new team members and assist with performance reviews
Manage reports, data, and project updates
Maintain office supplies, equipment, and compliance standards
Support management with policies and process improvements
Participate in on-call rotation for 24-hour emergency services
4+ years of management or supervisory experience
4+ years of customer service or office experience
Background in restoration or construction strongly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and restoration software
Strong organization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
Full-time, Monday–Friday (8-hour shifts)
Must be available for on-call rotation (typically one week per month or every 6 weeks)
