Title: Network Engineer
Location: New York, NY 10004 (Hybrid)
Duration: 3 Months
Pay Rate: $75/hr (C2C)
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, optimize, and support enterprise-level network systems. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, lead network projects, and troubleshoot complex network infrastructure issues. This role involves managing mission-critical IT services, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing advanced networking solutions to enhance organizational efficiency.
Responsibilities:Plan, design, configure, install, and support enterprise network systems.
Troubleshoot and optimize network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, MPLS, BGP, EIGRP, QoS, VLANs, ACLs, and firewalls.
Provide oversight for network security, load balancing, and network access control (NAC, RADIUS, TACACS).
Implement and maintain VoIP solutions, including voice gateways and call control systems.
Design and execute disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to enhance network infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with federal regulations and industry standards.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical training.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in network engineering, IT infrastructure, and telecommunications.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security, and enterprise network design.
Experience in network monitoring, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
