Reporting to the MedSurg Department Manager and Charge Nurse, the MedSurg Nurse oversees patient care throughout the shift.
Throughout their shift, the MedSurg Nurse plays a pivotal role in organizing medication administration and meticulously documenting patient care activities. In addition to these responsibilities, the RN promptly responds to medical emergencies, applying their expertise in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Effective communication is key, as the MedSurg Nurse regularly interacts with patients, their families, and fellow hospital staff, ensuring clear and compassionate exchange of information.
