Manager - Ortho Neuro Med-Surg RN
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Schedule: Full-time, Days

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $75,750 - $113,625 (based on experience)
• Sign-On Bonus: Case by case basis
• Relocation Assistance: Case by case basis

Role Overview
As the Manager of Ortho Neuro Med-Surg, you will oversee a 30-bed unit, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care through effective leadership and resource management. Reporting to the Director of MS, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, staff supervision, and alignment with organizational goals and metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and accountability for the Neurosurgical Medical-Surgical department.
• Ensure quality of care by adhering to hospital policies and external regulatory standards.
• Supervise a team of 35.3 FTEs, supported by Clinical Nurse Supervisors and Charge Nurses.
• Manage operational and capital budgets effectively.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and promote a culture of safety and excellence.
• Engage in proactive patient rounding and address concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Master's degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RECENT acute care leadership experience in Med-Surg with Neuro and Ortho focus. Current clinical practice in relevant areas preferred.
• Licensure/Certifications:
  • Current RN license in Texas or Compact State license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

• Unit Details: 30 beds with a team of experienced FTEs.
