Maintenance Technician | Rockford, MI

Salary Range: $50,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Execute timely repairs of production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Install, set up, and commission new manufacturing machinery and systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Conduct equipment calibrations and adjustments for optimal performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for diagnostics and basic programming.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in welding and fabrication.
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• HVAC or refrigeration system experience.
• Robotics troubleshooting or programming experience.
