Riverside Golf Club is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Golf Course professional to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the golf course's presentation and playability, ensuring a high-quality experience for our members and guests. You will be responsible for the upkeep of the greens, fairways, and overall landscape of the course.
Plan, organize, and oversee the maintenance of the golf course to ensure top playing conditions.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as mowing, aerating, and fertilizing greens and fairways.
Inspect the course regularly for any issues or areas that require maintenance.
Assist in the irrigation and drainage systems to ensure proper water distribution.
Maintain equipment and machinery, executing repairs as necessary.
Support the implementation of agronomic plans and schedule tasks to align with best practices.
Work collaboratively with other maintenance staff to ensure efficient operation.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while carrying out tasks.
Manage budgets and procure supplies, tools, and equipment.
Bachelor or equivalent; relevant certifications in agronomy or landscaping are a plus.
Previous experience in golf course maintenance or landscaping preferred.
Knowledge of turf management, irrigation systems, and general horticultural practices.
Ability to operate and maintain various landscaping and maintenance equipment.
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Strong work ethic with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
