Are you a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) looking for a locum tenens opportunity in Alabama? A healthcare facility near Calera, AL, is seeking temporary coverage for scheduled clinical hours starting January 2025. This position offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient care, with a supportive environment and an opportunity to work independently.

Assignment Details:

• Start Date: January 6, 2025
• End Date: March 21, 2025
• Schedule: Scheduled clinical hours only
• EMR Systems Used: Athena & Meditech
• Practice Setting: Both inpatient and outpatient
• Patient Volume: 25 patients per shift
• Department Beds: 20

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesia for general, obstetrical, and regional cases.
• Manage spinal and epidural anesthesia.
• Perform pre-operative evaluations and post-operative pain management.
• Handle trauma and pediatric cases as required.
• Collaborate with a team of medical assistants, nurses, and other healthcare providers.

Facility Highlights:

• Level 2 Trauma and Pediatric Center
• Temporary privileges available for qualified candidates
• No requirement for board certification beyond specialty certification
• Supervision of Advanced Practice Providers may be required

Required Certifications:

• Active AL license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
