Located in Jamaica, Queens is looking for an experienced locksmith. A family business and we have spent decades building it from the ground up and are expanding our team. We are "all-in" and want team members who will have the same mentality and enjoy working as a close group that can be a true leader in the industry. We have a lot of fun and we work hard. Compensation commensurate with experience, great benefits available. . Full-time position, Monday to Friday from 8:30 am - 5 pm. Work will include residential and commercial jobs. Van and tools provided.

Responsibilities:

• Fresh lock installation, repairs, rebuilds

• Repinning/Masterkeying of locks: Mul-T-Lock, ASSA, Abloy, Medeco

• Interchangeable core pinning

• Cuts new or duplicate keys, using key cutting machines.

• Disassembles mechanical or electrical locking devices, and repairs or replaces worn tumblers, springs, and other parts, using hand tools.

• Keeps records of company locks and keys.

• Sets up and maintains master key systems.

• Opens safe locks by drilling.

• Installs alarm and electronic access systems.

• Unlocks cars and other vehicles.

• Repairs and adjusts safes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with no points

• Preferred Minimum 5 years experience as a locksmith or similar (mechanic, construction…) work experience with excellent references.

• Valid NYC Locksmiths License(Preferred)

• Osha card

• Drug-free due to on-going potential for drug screening

• No criminal history

• High school graduate

• Able to lift 75 pounds

• Team player

• Customer service skills

• Aptitude for and interest in mechanics/locksmithing

• Must be mature and responsible and able to work independently
