LCS (Lakeside Curative Services, INC.), is looking for a Community Coach to work in their Connect program providing individualized attention to encourage participants’ ability to be involved in the community by volunteering or community employment. This is a full-time position, with benefits and requires someone with patience, organizational skills, and the ability to serve as a role model to all individuals associated with LCS. Job Function :
The Community Coach position involves several responsibilities including building the confidence of participants by introducing them to networking opportunities with area businesses to develop meaningful experiences and volunteer opportunities. Your provision of individualized attention that encourages the participants to attain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being possible for participants will be valued.
There is development of weekly plans for assigned participants and following up with documentation. You will be observing behavior to provide ongoing improvement in planning. You will be able to use your creativity to develop LCS Connect options for participants that focus on community-based learning and involvement in the community.
