Veterinary System Services, Inc. (“VSS”) has established the first medical- grade laundry facility dedicated to providing clean linens to veterinary practices, shelters, and other animal service providers. The company has been in business since 2014. We have other divisions that also work to provide services to a client base of
veterinary clinics, hospitals, shelters, schools, government agencies, and non-profits.
Purpose: To prepare linens and textiles to be used to aid sick and injured animals.
Job Description: A laundry attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining linens, clothing, and other textiles. Duties typically include sorting, washing, drying, folding laundry, and ensuring the cleanliness of the laundry area.
Duties and Responsibilities: Safely sort and prepare linens for cleaning, including pre-treatment, if needed. Put linens through the wash using appropriate system settings. Clean sort and wash areas. Transfer clean linens to the dryers. Clean dryer and washer areas. Fold linens. Package client’s linens in bags to return to client’s
facilities, making sure client is receiving back the items sent in for cleaning. Weigh and report. Maintain a clean laundering facility.
Required Qualifications: Ability to sort, clean, and repackage client’s linens. Ability to weigh and report various textiles. Ability to regularly lift 40 lbs. Ability to autonomously work safely around chemicals and industrial machinery.
Working conditions: The facility is located near Airport and E 2nd Ave. Aurora, CO 80011
Shifts: During training, shifts will be mid-day. Starting at 10a. After training is complete, this job has flexibility and can be performed any time. Employees should plan to work 3 to 4 days a week.
Wage: Starting at $18.00 per hour.
