About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Landscape Construction Superintendent to oversee large-scale commercial landscape construction projects in Buffalo, NY. Projects range from $200,000 to $1 million, offering the opportunity to work on significant and high-visibility projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing commercial landscape construction projects, with the ability to lead teams and ensure the highest quality standards. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of landscape construction projects, from planning through completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Lead and supervise crews on-site, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring efficient and safe operations.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to meet project goals and resolve any issues that arise.
• Monitor project progress, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns or changes in project scope.
• Ensure all equipment and materials are on-site and in working order, maintaining project momentum.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial landscape construction, managing projects of similar size and scope.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide crews effectively.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, construction plans, and specifications.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in landscape construction.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel to various project sites within the Buffalo area as needed.
