Long-Term Temporary Assignment

In this role, you will oversee and maintain the landscape conditions at various county parks, ensuring the beauty and health of our public spaces. Responsibilities include reviewing landscape beds, performing corrective maintenance, and providing recommendations to enhance plant health, irrigation systems, and weed control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, maintain, and enhance landscape beds as part of a designated route.
• Perform corrective actions such as mulching, edging, planting, and weed suppression to maintain high-quality standards.
• Provide expert recommendations for landscape improvements, including plant selection, irrigation adjustments, and sustainable weed control methods.
• Collaborate with the team to implement improvements and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
• Complete additional duties as assigned to support the department’s goals.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in landscape maintenance or a related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining exceptional landscape standards.
