Compensation

$36.29/hour

Full-time with overtime opportunities

Available Shifts

1st Shift: MondayâFriday, 7:00 AM â 3:30 PM
2nd Shift: MondayâFriday, 3:00 PM â 11:30 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team at a large industrial facility in Tonawanda, NY. This role is essential in supporting the plantâs electrical systems, performing equipment maintenance, and ensuring a safe, efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial electrical work and strong troubleshooting skills with complex systems.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, including motors, controls, and circuits
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents
Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components
Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations
Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
Complete work orders and documentation accurately and on time

Requirements

Valid Journeyman Electrician License or 8 years of verifiable electrical experience
Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial electrical work
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and industrial safety standards
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Proficient with electrical testing tools and industrial controls
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environments
Must pass a background check and drug screening
Reliable attendance and transportation required
