Description We are looking for organized and detail-oriented Inventory Specialists to join our team on a contract basis in Alameda, California. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of inventory operations. This contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to a key project and collaborate with a dynamic team. Responsibilities: - Conduct physical inventory counts to verify stock levels and identify discrepancies. - Maintain detailed documentation of inventory movements and adjustments. - Collaborate with team members to streamline inventory processes and meet project deadlines. - Operate material handling equipment to move and organize products as needed. - Monitor inventory tracking systems to ensure data accuracy and timely updates. - Assist in annual physical inventory procedures and audits. - Communicate findings and issues to supervisors for prompt resolution. - Follow established procedures to ensure compliance with inventory control standards. - Support the team in organizing and labeling inventory to enhance accessibility. Requirements - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management. - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. - Basic math skills and proficiency in organizing records. - Experience with inventory tracking systems or warehouse operations is preferred. - Familiarity with operating material handling equipment is a plus. - Willingness to work on a contract basis. - Previous experience in inventory control or related fields is advantageous. - Ability to follow instructions and meet project deadlines.
