We are seeking a Test Engineer to join our team as an Automation Test Engineer. In this role you will develop, implement, and maintain a test automation strategy.

What You Will Do:
• Analyze the current regression tests that exist and develop a way to increase test automation in executing regression tests nightly
• Take existing capability sell-off manual tests that have been executed previously and add relevant pieces to the nightly regression tests that are not currently covered
• Perform routine Integration, Verification, & Test (IV&T) tasks to contribute to execution of PI objectives to test system capabilities

Qualifications You Must Have:
• Requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or a Master’s in STEM and 3 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience with Postgres and SQL databases to be able to make complex queries to extract information
• Knowledge in scripting languages to include bash, perl, python and ability to query Oracle DB via sql and MongoDB
• Experience supporting development and system integration of a software-based system in a DevSecOps environment, including:
o Experience with the Atlassian Suite, including Jira and Confluence
o Experience communicating execution status against technical requirements

Qualifications We Prefer:
• Systems Engineering (SE) or Test Execution (TE) experience on a large government software development contract
• Experience with SE process development and deployment
• Experience with configuration management concepts and tools
• Experience with Gherkin and Cucumber would be preferred
• Security + Certification
