WECTEC Staffing Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, is hiring a Hydroelectric Systems Engineer for a 12-month engagement supporting hydropower facilities across Wisconsin and Minnesota. What you'll do

• Lead a portfolio of ~10 projects annually spanning ~25 hydro facilities (primarily WI; one in MN).
• Author comprehensive bid and design specifications for maintenance and capital improvements.
• Coordinate end-to-end delivery—from initiation and planning through construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Interface daily with plant management and contractors to resolve field issues and keep milestones on track.
• Travel 20–30% with a seasonal cadence: summer/fall for construction, winter/spring for design and closeout.

What sets you up for success

• ABET-accredited BS in Mechanical, Electrical (Controls welcomed), or Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Valid driver’s license.
• FE/EIT required; PE is a plus. PMP certification or equivalent project management experience is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of SAP work management, Primavera P6 or MS Project, and Bluebeam.
• 2+ years of engineering experience; hydro or industrial environment experience with at least 6+ months hydro exposure.
