Human Resources / Compliance Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Human Resources and Compliance Consultant to join our team in the DFW Metroplex.

In this role, you will help to ensure HR Practices & Documentation align with federal, state, and local regulations while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Policy Development: Design and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and industry standards.
  • Compliance Audits: Conduct regular audits to assess adherence to regulations such as FLSA, ADA, FMLA, and Texas labor laws.
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Training & Development: Develop and deliver training programs on compliance, diversity, equity, inclusion, and workplace policies.
  • Recruitment Support: Assist in creating inclusive hiring practices and ensuring job descriptions meet legal and organizational standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate HR-related risks, including workplace safety and data privacy concerns.
  • Reporting: Prepare and maintain reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in HR, compliance, or a related consulting role.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and Texas employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) preferred but not required.
