Argos Inn, Bar & Event Space - Ithaca's boutique hotel

Argos Inn is now seeking an experienced Housekeeper to join our talented and dedicated team. All of our staff is responsible for creating a warm, inviting, distinctive guest experience, as well as upholding a supportive, collaborative, and enjoyable environment for staff. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you are responsible for the overall cleanliness of 13 guest rooms, the public & event spaces and ultimately, ensuring Argos cleaning standards are met.

We are presently seeking a part-time candidate. All housekeeping shifts are daytime.

Housekeeping Responsibilities (12+hrs/week):

• Clean up to 13 guest rooms daily to Argos Inn standards
• Clean public spaces daily
• Wash laundry as needed

Job Requirements:

• Housekeeping experience required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and without assistance
• Able to climb multiple flights of stairs, reach and bend
• Standing for long periods of time
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Detail-oriented work performance
• Maintains a friendly, caring and professional demeanor
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to make clear and quick decisions
• Flexible work hours, including weekends, and some holidays

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
