Part-Time Tutor - In-Person Only

REQUIREMENTS:

• This is an IN-PERSON POSITION . Candidates who are remote should not apply.
• Bachelor's Degree is REQUIRED

Math OR Reading Tutors - Huntington Learning Center is hiring in-person, part-time tutors who have expertise and experience tutoring higher level math OR reading comprehension, including SAT and ACT preparation:

• We are looking for tutors with knowledge of and experience teaching such math topics as Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus
• We are also looking for tutors with ability and experience tutoring SAT/high school-level Reading and Writing, including the ability to teach critical thinking, grammar rules, and writing.

Requirements Include:

• 4-YEAR DEGREE IS REQUIRED : A bachelor's degree is the minimum degree-level requirement.
• This is an I N-PERSON position : A candidate must be able to work in person. Candidates in remote locations should not apply.
• Certification/License a plus, but not required.
• Experience levels can vary - current and retired teachers are encouraged. Professionals with expertise in other subject areas are welcome to apply.
• Must be a caring and qualified professional committed to the success of students.
