ABBEY ROAD FARM is a looking to hire a harvest cellar hand for the duration of vintage 2025.

The estate vineyard consists of 42 planted acres comprising a diverse array of varietals. Farming is organic.

Aside from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay we also have Trousseau Gris, Trousseau, Godello, Chenin Blanc, Gruner Veltliner, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Mencia, Cabernet Franc, Gamay noir, Pinot meunier, Mondeuse and Aligote. If that isn't enough of a fruit salad we also source Syrah from Milton-Freewater and Walla Walla.
Needless to say the successful applicant will be exposed to a myriad of wines, winemaking techniques and styles from Methode Traditionelle base wines to skin contact whites to 100% carbonic fermentation and everything in between. You will be working with concrete tanks, (egg and cube), French oak tanks, clay amphora as well as French oak and Acacia puncheons.

The winery has just undergone a major renovation and is fully equipped with state of the art equipment.

Previous harvest and forklift experience is highly valued. You will be working within a very small team, (winemaker, assistant winemaker and vineyard manager) and will be exposed to all manner of tasks. Long hours expected and a diverse taste in music is mandatory.

Onsite accommodation is provided as well as harvest lunches and dinner if working late.

Approximately 10-12 week duration starting end of August. Exact timing to be determined as the season progresses.

Must have own transportation and be legally permitted to work in the U.S.
