Job Description

Job Title: Lot Attendant 

Department: Ewing - Towing – Yard

FLSA Status: Non- Exempt 

 

Summary:

A lot of attendant provides customer service for the intake and/or release of towed vehicles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assist and accompany customers to their vehicles for any personal belongings while providing excellent customer service. 
  • Assists customers in releasing vehicles.
  • Inform clerks if vehicles are not where the paperwork indicates, so the information is updated in our system. 
  • Make sure insurance, E&E, and/or Stock Vehicles have been processed and numbered.
  • Make sure all registrations, releases of vehicles, lot visits, and setouts are completed.
  • Mild clean-up of the property and basic facility maintenance.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Ability to accurately use a calculator. 

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
