Description

Betches Media is looking for a hilarious and highly skilled freelance video producer to join the team for ~12 hours / week and create some of the funniest videos on the internet. In this role, you will work directly with our Senior Video Producer, Social and other team members to brainstorm, film, and edit social video across platforms, while staying attuned to trending topics, content, sounds, and more. The ideal candidate understands the Betches voice, but also comes with a unique perspective and sense of humor that helps us stand out even further. You should also genuinely enjoy diving into your FYP, finding new inspiration and ways to approach content. You will also occasionally support our Branded Team.

The ideal candidate is proficient in production, shooting and editing digital video content across all platforms, specifically Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. You should be passionate about video production, comedy, and know and love the Betches brand and voice. This role will report to the Senior Video Producer, Social and work closely with our larger content team.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Produce, shoot, edit and star in a variety of Betches Media videos (sketches, reels, videos, etc.)
• Ideate, script, and execute ad hoc and series ideas for Betches and Betches verticals
• Assist in all aspects of the production process, including pitching, scripting, shooting, appearing in, and editing videos and video series
• Collaborate with video and content team to produce high quality video content

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in producing, shooting & editing videos for social
• Must be comfortable appearing/acting in videos as needed
• Interest or background in comedy
• Ability to shoot and edit narrative sketches
• Strong ability to produce and film quick social videos
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere
• Understanding of basic lighting techniques
• Fluent in the culture of social media
• Past media experience a plus
• Ability to travel locally, if needed

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $25-$35/hour for 12 hours per week.
