Job Description

At Stitch, we’re building something extraordinary. As a fast-growing team of passionate marketing technologists, architects, and strategists, we bring together our diverse backgrounds and experiences to work towards one common goal: make marketers’ lives easier with Braze.

Customer engagement is becoming increasingly complex, but with the right technology, processes, and strategies in place, marketers can achieve great things. We're motivated to be drivers of what the future of martech looks like by building solutions that work.

We’re all in on Braze as the leading customer engagement platform and the cornerstone of the modern martech stack. As an Orbit-level certified Braze partner (the highest level of partnership), we work alongside marketers from some of the world’s most beloved brands to stitch together innovative solutions, better processes, and smarter strategies that make marketing magic happen in Braze.

About This Role

As a Front-End Developer at Stitch, you’ll work with our client to design and implement customer-facing experiences that unify branding across channels, enhance loyalty and personalization capabilities, and streamline digital self-service tools. You’ll be fully integrated into client teams, owning your own workstreams while also participating in peer reviews to raise the bar for quality across multiple developers.

While Stitch’s business centers around helping marketers succeed with Braze, we aim to be a strategic partner for anything that impacts the marketing technology stack, and that’s where this role comes in. You’ll help clients implement front-end solutions that make their customer engagement strategies seamless, consistent, and future-ready.

This is a consulting role, so expect to be client-facing, contributing to conversations, shaping solutions, and bringing clarity to complex problems, all while delivering high-quality code.

What You’ll Do

  • Build, customize, and maintain scalable front-end solutions within WordPress
  • Implement modern best practices, including responsive design, accessibility, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Own development workstreams end-to-end, from design and coding to testing, deployment, and peer reviews.
  • Be comfortable pushing code to production in agile environments.
  • Take on three main front-end workstreams for our clients:
    • Forgot to Scan: Build self-service tools that improve customer experiences and reduce operational friction.
    • Loyalty Enhancements: Develop seamless loyalty and personalization functionality.
    • Rebrand Projects: Ensure digital assets and interfaces align with evolving brand standards.
  • Participate in peer reviews to ensure code quality and consistency across teams.
  • Work within client workflows using Azure DevOps (ADO) in a KANBAN-style setup.
  • Partner with client stakeholders and other Stitch consultants to align development with business goals and brand guidelines.

What Does Success Look Like In This Role?

  • Your code is clean, scalable, and production-ready, and you’re comfortable deploying it.
  • Not only are you an awesome technical expert, but you’re also an amazing consultant. This means that you are confident meeting with our clients and bringing a strong point of view to them around best practices and creative solutions. You approach your clients’ needs with curiosity and ask questions to develop a deeper understanding of how Stitch can best serve them.
  • You own your workstreams end-to-end while elevating the work of other developers through thoughtful peer reviews.
  • You proactively identify opportunities to improve customer experiences through front-end solutions.
  • You show up to every meeting with our clients and other Stitchers prepared and engaged. Every point of communication - Slack, email, Zoom meeting, or in-person meeting - is an opportunity to impress our clients. You are responsive and work with a sense of urgency.
  • You consistently meet deadlines. We know, we know, this seems obvious! But it’s important. We are a professional services business, so our success depends on the satisfaction of our clients. Meeting deadlines gives the Stitchers you’re collaborating with enough time to complete the tasks that are dependent on your work and ensures that our clients are successful.

Requirements

  • 10+ Year of proven experience in front-end development, with deep proficiency in WordPress.
  • Experience with React is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to own development workstreams from start to finish.
  • Strong grasp of modern front-end practices: responsive design, accessibility, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience working with REST APIs
  • Demonstrated ability to implement performance optimization strategies, including lazy loading, code splitting, and caching.
  • Experience pushing code to production in agile environments.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) and KANBAN workflows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. You thrive in cross-functional, client-facing environments.
  • A consulting mindset that allows you to translate technical concepts into business outcomes and provide clarity to clients.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

Benefits

  • Flexible PTO policy
  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • Monthly tech stipend
  • Paid parental leave
  • Paid bereavement leave
  • Mental well-being support
  • In-person onboarding experience during your first week at our HQ in Indianapolis, Indiana
