About the Role: The Financial Systems Analyst will join a growing Financial Systems team to manage systems tools, processes, and business requests. The Financial Systems Analyst will support the maintenance, development, documentation, end-user training, and adhoc business needs associated with our financial software systems. As part of the overall FP&A team, you will assist team members, as well as internal business end-users and act as a resource to facilitate budget, forecasting and reporting processes. Additional Locations: Los Angeles, Orange County, CA Remote What You'll Do:
  • Lead the data import / load process (Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly) from Accounting ERP system
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and FP&A Operations teams to manage company-wide headcount reconciliation process and automation
  • Own, create, and maintain training documentation, developing requirements for recurring and ad-hoc methodologies associated with the financial planning software system
  • Act as a resource for FP&A team members in monthly, quarterly, and annual operating financial cycles (budgeting, forecasting, reporting, etc.)
  • Create and audit data to ensure data integrity; work with process owners to resolve any data discrepancies and provide resolutions where possible
  • Assist in maintaining financial systems tool, including aspects of account structure, department hierarchy, model building, and system health evaluations
  • Provide technical support to end users, ensuring any critical issues are resolved swiftly
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field required
  • 1-3 years work experience in a financial systems or corporate financial planning and analysis role
  • Experience with any of the following applications, including: Adaptive Planning (or equivalent financial planning tool), NetSuite ERP, Tableau, Workday HCM, Salesforce, Snowflake
  • High proficiency in Excel fundamentals and financial modeling
  • Strong time management skills and proven ability to manage and execute multiple projects at a given time
  • Highly organized, efficient, and customer service-oriented with a demonstrated desire to improve existing processes
  • Ability to manage change effectively and always mindful of downstream technology, business processes, and systems implications
Bonus Points:
  • SaaS industry experience
  • High-tech, start-up, rapid growth and/or publicly traded company experience
  • Experience with developing or creating data visualizations, reports or dashboards (Tableau/Domo)
  • Familiarity with structure queries (SQL) or data analytics software (Snowflake or equivalent)
