We are hiring candidates for regular full-time and part-time FedEx Delivery Driver positions. We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and who like to work independently and as part of a team. Drivers primary tasks are safely driving commercial vehicles while making residential and business deliveries and pickups, both in town and country routes, and making deliveries and pickups timely. The right candidate will prioritize safety first, have good time management skills, be comfortable safely lifting small to large packages daily, willing to understand and follow written instructions and navigation aids, and appreciates providing quality customer service.

(CDL License Not required.) If you have been a Local Driver, Route Drivers, Truck Drivers, Couriers, Pick Up Drivers, Delivery drivers - and if you have driven for UPS, Amazon, previous FedEx companies, DHL, Wal-Mart, Uber, Lyft or any other similar companies that is a plus; we have a job waiting for you as we are hiring urgently and immediately.

Requirements :

• Have a strong work ethic and get-it-done attitude
• Pass FedEx Ground criminal background check, drug test and DOT physical.
• Be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
• Be able to safely and routinely lift/carry up to 75 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with hand truck equipment on a repetitive daily basis
• Have reliable transportation to and from work -️ Be on time and ready to work each workday
• Be able to climb stairs
• Be able to work in all types of weather

Daily Duties include but not limited to:

• Driving safety and keeping personal physical safety while working at all times
• Delivery and pick up of packages to businesses and residences. Routes vary in number of pick-ups and deliveries, but expectations are generally:

∙ Rural regions 50 - 75 stops daily

∙ Combined Rural/Town regions: 75 - 100 stops daily

∙ In-Town regions: 110 - 160 stops daily

• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle, including checking fluid levels, tire depth and other standard safety inspections
• Report timely and consistently for all scheduled work days
• Abide by the FedEx professional uniform dress code
• Ability to load and/or sort vehicle for deliveries
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with manager

Training is paid which includes driver and vehicle safety, delivery/route procedures, standard equipment operations, and customer service.
