Location Description:

Deloitte Hotel & Conference Center

  • High-end private hotel and conference center called Deloitte University. Closed to the public.
  • Currently 800 hotel rooms - all single occupancy, no suites. Expanding to 1400 rooms in October 2025!

Overview:

The Event Set Up Attendant will set up and break down meeting rooms according to event orders which includes moving tables and chairs on a regular basis. They will also maintain cleanliness standards for equipment and meeting rooms.

 

 

  • This i s a part-time position.

  • $17.35 per hour.
  • This is an afternoon/evening shift, weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and arrange tables, chairs and other equipment in conference rooms per event order.

  • Must be able to walk for long periods of distance and time.

  • Must be able to push, pull and lift a variety of conference tables and other equipment weighing 5-70 pounds; put risers into place each weighing 150 pounds; move chairs of various weights and styles.

  • Daily thorough cleaning of classrooms, ballrooms and team rooms including vacuuming, trash removal and replenishing supplies.

Qualifications

  • No experience required, we will train!

  • Friendly and outgoing personality. Likes to talk to people.
