Hours: Full-time, Tuesday through Friday 1pm to 9pm and Saturday 7am to 3pm.

Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities:

Provide supervision and support for youth in the evening reporting center. Facilitate group sessions, plan and prepare meals within budget, maintain and expand resource materials for group sessions. Keep accurate records of group sessions, provide transportation to and from center daily, develop and carry out plans for each resident’s maximum personal growth in the group setting, as well as develop and carry out plans for the entire group to reach maximum productivity. Will provide counseling for residents under the direction of the Program Director. Must possess knowledge and understanding of community resources and will be expected to attend community meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in behavioral or social science field is preferred; or post-secondary education and a minimum of one year of experience working with children; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be at least 21 years old and able to complete orientation training according to agency program standards. Must successfully complete all agency background checks, which include checks to detect criminal convictions of behavior harmful towards children, spousal abuse, and drug or sex crimes. Requires a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain approved driver status.
