Job Description

Seeking a dedicated professional to oversee employee safety and regulatory compliance in chemical transportation, handling, and cleaning operations, with a focus on DOT and FMCSA compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure CDL driver and fleet compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations.
- Manage safety policies, CDL Drug & Alcohol programs, and driver qualification files.
- Oversee transportation permits, licenses, and fleet CSA score improvements.
- Conduct risk assessments, facility inspections, and lead incident investigations.
- Serve as a resource for AQMD, CARB, and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years managing safety programs in transportation or related industries.
- Strong leadership, attention to detail, and regulatory expertise in DOT/FMCSA.
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
Must be able to climb, lift up to 60 lbs., and work in industrial settings, including hazardous chemical environments. Occasional overnight travel required.
