Smaller, growing company is expanding and looking for an experienced and motivated Engineering Manager to lead a small team of engineers and drive process improvements across our manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with deep technical knowledge and strong team management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, setting goals, and monitoring performance to ensure team and project success.
Define technical objectives, set priorities, and create realistic project timelines.
Identify and implement manufacturing process improvements aimed at enhancing quality and reducing costs.
Contribute to various engineering functions and projects as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing, specifically with metal component fabrication and assembly processes.
Proficiency in operating equipment such as CNC wire EDMs, CNC grinders, lathes, and other machine tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to customers, leadership, and team members.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (other relevant degrees will be considered).
Positive, collaborative attitude with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and analytical mindset.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with rare earth permanent magnets or materials with similar physical properties, such as ceramics or ferrites.
