Yeshiva Torat Emet is a private Jewish day school in Houston, Texas, dedicated to fostering a warm, supportive environment where every child and every teacher is truly valued. Our Early Childhood Education program emphasizes individualized care and development, supporting each child’s language, social-emotional, and academic growth every single day.

• Implement an age-appropriate curriculum for children in a daycare or preschool setting
• Provide care and support for children with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for toddlers and preschoolers
• Manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions among children
• Collaborate with parents and other staff members to ensure the well-being and development of each child
• Monitor and assess the progress of each child, providing individualized attention and support as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with young children, especially those with special needs
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
• Ability to adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of children in the classroom
