Join Our Leadership Team as Division Vice President of Nursing Informatics
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Division Vice President of Nursing Informatics to lead clinical informatics initiatives across our healthcare division. This executive-level role supports nursing and patient care teams by ensuring the safe and effective integration of clinical technology, aligning with enterprise-wide strategic goals. As a collaborative leader, you'll drive innovation in nursing practices, healthcare delivery, and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a strategic leader in deploying and optimizing clinical information systems.
Collaborate with IT, nursing, and executive teams to align informatics strategies with clinical operations.
Oversee workflow design, system integration, and technology optimization to enhance care delivery.
Develop implementation strategies and ongoing education programs for clinical technology systems.
Analyze data and performance metrics to support evidence-based clinical decisions.
Lead clinical transformation efforts using advanced healthcare technologies.
Partner with facilities to address specific operational and clinical technology needs.
Ensure compliance with federal and state electronic health record (EHR) and “meaningful use” standards.
Act as the executive sponsor for the Clinical Informatics Council.
Required Qualifications:
RN License (Texas)
Master’s degree in Nursing, Health Informatics, or Business Administration
Minimum of 5 years in Acute Care Clinical Informatics Leadership
Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-functional technology initiatives
Expert knowledge of MEDITECH , healthcare technology systems, and electronic health records
National Nursing Informatics Certification (required within 6 months of hire)
Preferred Skills & Abilities:
Strong project and personnel management abilities
Advanced data analysis and reporting skills (Excel, database software)
Exceptional communication and collaboration across service lines
Servant leadership approach with a deep understanding of clinical workflows
