Description This position is a Construction Inspector - Electrical Inspector role based onsite at LAX for the next five years. Position Details: + Title: Construction Inspector (Electrical) Key Responsibilities: + Perform construction inspections on airfield projects (runways, taxiways, lighting systems) + Ensure compliance with FAA specifications and LAWA safety standards + Prepare detailed daily inspection reports including mapping, photos, and QA documentation + Conduct inspections of FAA airfield lighting systems, PCCP and asphalt paving, and base material systems + Coordinate runway/taxiway closures and openings following FAA and LAWA procedures Must-Have Qualifications: ✅ Minimum 5 years of verifiable airfield construction inspection experience on active airport facilities ✅ Strong knowledge of FAA specifications (P-501, P-401, P-201, P-306) ✅ Cal/OSHA 30-hour certification (within the last 4 years) ✅ Experience with FAA Part 139 airport operational protocols ✅ Proficiency with technical inspection reporting (MS Office, PMIS, Bluebeam, PM Web, ProCore) ✅ Ability to work nights, weekends, or variable shifts as required by project demands ✅ Must have a vehicle with AOA access capability Preferred: + City of Los Angeles Deputy Inspector Licenses (Grading, Concrete) + Knowledge of FAA lighting and signage systems Requirements Must-Have Qualifications: ✅ Minimum 5 years of verifiable airfield construction inspection experience on active airport facilities ✅ Strong knowledge of FAA specifications (P-501, P-401, P-201, P-306) ✅ Cal/OSHA 30-hour certification (within the last 4 years) ✅ Experience with FAA Part 139 airport operational protocols ✅ Proficiency with technical inspection reporting (MS Office, PMIS, Bluebeam, PM Web, ProCore) ✅ Ability to work nights, weekends, or variable shifts as required by project demands ✅ Must have a vehicle with AOA access capability Preferred: + City of Los Angeles Deputy Inspector Licenses (Grading, Concrete) + Knowledge of FAA lighting and signage systems TalentMatch® ­Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
