Compensation: $40.80 to $61.20 per hour equivalent (annual base $84,849–$127,274 DOE)

Job Description



Overview

Guide a busy cardiac progressive care team serving the North Dallas market. Lead clinical operations, elevate quality, and mentor a skilled nursing workforce in a collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

  • Own daily operations, staffing, and patient flow for cardiac stepdown

  • Implement evidence-based protocols and unit-based quality projects

  • Build physician partnerships and support interdisciplinary rounds

  • Monitor KPIs, budget, and supply stewardship

  • Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing teams

Qualifications



Required

  • BSN and active Texas or Compact RN license

  • 2+ years recent leadership in cardiac PCU/stepdown

  • Prior experience in Magnet or Pathway to Excellence settings

  • BLS and ACLS (or obtained per policy)

Preferred

  • MSN or master’s in related field

  • National cardiac/PCU specialty certification within 12 months
